Chevrolet Centre- Youngstown Ohio
By chesneychic onThe Chevrolet Center is located in Youngstown Ohio and is home to the Youngstown Steel hounds which are a minor league hockey team. It is a newer building and was built in 2005.We have been to the Chevrolet Centre many times to see the Steel hounds plays and even concerts. The Chevrolet Centre is becoming a very well known venue and is starting to hold more events like wrestling and is starting to attract better known acts. This is now my favorite place to go watch events because it is a smaller venue so it doesn't matter where your seats are you can see perfect. It can seat up to 6300 people depending on what event is being held. I love that there is not as many people because it feels more intimate. They offer free parking in a garage which is only about a block away which is great because I hate having to pay tons of money to park.Even if the free garage fills up the additional parking is very reasonable. They offer a variety of foods at a reasonable price which makes it easier for a family to go and enjoy themselves without breaking the bank. There are tons of bathrooms and I have never had to wait in long lines. They even have family bathrooms which is great in case my husband wants to take one of my daughters instead of me.

Free parking is a nice touch. No one offers free parking anymore!
That's great about the bathrooms & there are not long lines-that's one of things that concerns me when I go to concerts or sporting events!!
That's awesome that they offer free parking. You don't see that much anymore with any stadium or venue. And Family bathrooms are great too. Especially when you have boys that are a bit older (maybe 8-9) and think they should be able to go to the men's bathroom by themself. Not! The family bathrooms are great in these cases.
This really sounds like a great place. I also love the idea of free parking. That is very rare now!

Always looking for more places to see professional sports. Thanks for the information!
