Chevy Impala By reneecancun02 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I own the 2004 Chevrolet Impala Ls. We feel this is a high quality, well made vehicle. It is considered a large car. It is very roomy. I have a large toddler car seat plus a booster seat for an older child in the back seat. Our older daughter can fit in the back seat with those 2 sears and has plenty of extra room. The interior is a nice quality and is very pleasing to the eye. Even though it is considered a large car, we do get very good gas mileage. We get around 25 mph highway with this car. I have noticed that the noise level in the car has increased as the car ages. In the back seat of the car you can hear a lot of noise and due to the type of tires on the car, it is a bit noisy. But overall, we are very pleased with this car and would be willing to buy another one.

Impalas have come a long way haven't they?! It sounds like it's a reliable car since you have had it for almost four years!!
Thank you for this. We will possibly be looking for a new vehicle in the near future so this is one I may look into. Glad to know about the back seat and carseats. That will be one feature I will need as well.
I really like the taillights on these...too bad they changed them to the triangular shape a few years ago! The round lenses were very retro-influenced.
I have always liked the look of these cars but this is the first time that I have read anything from an owner. Thank you for the info!
