Chewy Vitamin C

I take a lot of supplements myself, and I feel that Vitamin C is one of the most important and effective vitamins anyone can take. I went out looking for a vitamin C supplement that my young grandkids would take without a battle. Most chewables were too big and thick, or had too high of a dosage for young children. I was really glad to have found this product.The chewable vitamins are not in dry tablet form, but instead they are a small square soft caramel.They contain 250 milligrams each of vitamin C, and are really quite tasty.The kids like them a lot and take them without a fuss. That is actually the only problem that I can see, because the kids think they are candy.The chews come in a cardboard container, not unlike an oatmeal box, and it is not child proof. It's important to keep them up and away where the kids can't get them on their own. My grandkids have been taking them along with their daily vitamins for the last few months, and so far this fall, have not had any colds or coughs. I think the vitamin C chews were a little pricey at the vitamin shop where I found them, though, and I am hoping I can find a less expensive brand at a larger retail store when I am ready to buy again.
