Chi Flat Iron By Justjill By justjill on - Updated Sep 26, 2011
I have fairly straight hair but the humidity in Florida can cause it to frizz or get a small wave to it. The style I wear looks much better smooth and straight, and I flip the ends up a bit at times. So I decided to invest in a flat iron.
I read a lot of reviews on the Internet and decided to go with the Chi. It is great! My daughter had a cheaper brand that did not work well, so I wanted to splurge on something nice for us. It heats up pretty quick, about 1 minute. It smooths our hair very easily and effectively and adds shine to it. The best part is that our hair repels humidity better and the style will last!
I do wish the Chi flatiron had the auto shut off feature. It gets very hot and I would hate to forget to unplug it. But the heat seems to be just on the plates, which is good. Other than that, we have no complaints. It only takes a couple minutes for us to smooth over our dried hair and be ready for the day!

I have read so much about the Chi flat irons-this is one that I will definitely consider!
That is a splurge. But if it works well it's worth it. Thanks ;)
Mine is still working great! My daughter uses it too so it gets a double workout. She had a cheaper one and it does NOT compare.
