Chi Hair Flat Iron

Purchased at: Ebay

I bought several different flat irons before I decided to buy this one.The other ones were purchased between 10-20 dollars apiece at local retailers. They never worked.Someone told me that I could get a brand new chi online for about 20-30 dollars cheaper than I could buy from a professional hair dresser.I purchased the item and it came with a couple of free samples of chi oil, this is to use with the chi, it helps protect the hair from the heat.My chi does not have temperature controls but it gets to 250 degrees within a few minutes. It flattens my hair within just one stroke down it and it is not necessary to repeat it, I can usually go a couple of days with my hair straight and looking clean. The materials that the chi is made out of seems to be very durable as well.I have dropped it a few times on the tile floor and it has not broken or cracked. The small slim design makes it very easy to hold in your hand but even the outside of it can get a little to hot if you touch it in the wrong spot.

This sounds like a great product. Every hair on my head is its own cowlick, I swear, going in some strange direction, and straighteners are great -- I just wish I had somebody to help me do it! LOL! I'll see if I can find this one.

Wow! This thing gets so hot it sounds like you could cook with it! Like a versatile camp tool... If only it would run on batteries!

I have a chi as well, and it works perfect for my thick curly hair

Wow. Definately worth the price for the easy of use:0) Both my husband's kids have a straightener iron and it takes several passes before their hair is straight.

I've heard about this iron but never knew how well it worked. If you only need to do one pass, that's great. I may look into this product to smooth my curls once in a while.
