This is a fabulous movie. I have seen the actual broadway production of this play and prefer the movie! I am a person that loves musicals and the big big actors in this did a fabulous job!!! The big actors in this movie are Richard Gere, as the lawyer Billy Flynn, Renee Zellweger, as Roxy Hart, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, as Velma Kelly.

In case you don't know anything about this, let me tell you what the movie is about....Roxy is cheating on her husband and her lover isn't who she thought. He sold her their furniture, but he told Roxy that he could get her into singing and dancing, but he really can't and tells her one night. She gets mad and as he's getting dressed to go home, she shoots him. Roxy's husband gets home and she gets the husband to cover for her but then he backs out in the end and Roxy goes to jail. That is where she meets many of other big characters, Velma Kelly who is in because she supposedly killed her sister after finding them having sex together. And Roxy's lawyer happens to be Billy Flynn and then there's the woman in charge who happens to be Queen Latifa. It's a great great movie!
