Chicka Chicka Boom Boom By Donnabc By donnabc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is one of my all time favorite books. It is an shorted form of the popular Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book. When my son first started learning letters (age 3) I found this book at Barns and Nobles and snatched it up.

At the time, we had a 30 minute drive to and from daycare / work (it was in the same building). So I often "read" him a story on the way....okay I didn't actually read it, I just held it up between the seats and recited it from memory.

The pictures are real simplistic...pictures of palm trees with coconuts on them that have letters "painted" on them. I just love the rhythm of the story and in fact still remember it now (6 years later). "A told B and B told C I"ll meet you at the top of the coconut tree."

If your child is learning his or her alphabet, take a look at this book. It is sturdy, and a fun way for them to learn the letters :0)
