Children's Book Collection, Stories To Grow On! By Amy Denney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have always tried to impress upon my children my love of reading and good quality books. For my son's fifth birthday, my sister presented him with a wonderful collection of eight books entitled, "Stories to Grow On!" The memories started flooding back of my childhood as I read through the titles,

The Fisherman and His Wife," "Stone Soup," "King Midas," " The Four Musicians," "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," "The Emperor's New Clothes," "The Gift," and "The Velveteen Rabbit." I was as excited to read them again as he was to read them for the first time.

The books are all hardback with beautifully illustrated covers and pictures on the inside. The writing is large and double-spaced so it is easy for my son to follow along with me as I read him the words. We can both enjoy them together now.
