Children's Winter Crocs
By cukal6 onMy son got his first pair of crocs a little over a year ago and he's been hooked every since. He's only 3 and he's already owned at least a dozen pair.I can't hardly get him to wear anything else.Back in November my mother bought him a pair of the mammoth crocs with the fur lining.I knew as soon as he opened the package that these were going to be his favorite.
After 4 months of wear, I have to admit that they are really nice(I don't really care for crocs myself). The fur lining keeps his feet warm and they are very durable. If they get dirty, which they do a lot, I can usually just rinse them off or soak them overnight in the sink. They always come out looking new.The only thing I don't like about this style is that they don't have a back strap.I think younger children really need that to keep them from scooting their feet all the time.
But, they keep him happy which makes me happy. It will probably be a fight to put them away for the summer, but I'm sure he'll find another pair that he's just as happy with.

Winter Crocs! Didn't know they existed. I'm going to have to find some. I agree that the little ones need the strap in the back.
I think I we are the only family in the world who don't own crocs. Your 3 year old has had a dozen pairs? I feel left out.
I love my crocs! I should have got a winter pair, but never got around to it.
Didn't know they made Crocs for the winter. Glad your son loves them.
We are a Croc family. We love our Mammoths too! I 100% agree with you though about the back strap. I wish even the adult sizes had a back strap. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to have a strap in the back?
Can't wear Crocs myself... not enough support and waaaaay too wide. Glad you've found something that the kiddo really likes though.
I have heard of these Crocs but have not seen them yet. They do sounds so darn comfy and warm! Does the inner cushioning make the Crocs more narrow or do they still have all the width that they summer style has?
I don't have experience with Crocs, more power to people who can wear them.
Isn't it interesting how people that like Crocs REALLY like them and are so loyal? I know they are really light weight and comfortable. They do say, if you take your child on an escalator in them, to be extremely cautious because they tend to stick at the place you need to step over at the bottom. Kids have gotten hurt, I guess.
How cute! I've not seen winter crocs. It's wonderful that they are easy to clean.
