Chinook Sleeping Matress By Ben Whynot on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This matress is amazing. It'a a featherweight in the scheme of matresses, it weighs less than one pound. It deflates and rolls up into a tiny stuff sack. (less than half the size of normal matresses.) The quality of this is great, and the attention to fine details which otherwise create problems is wonderful. The bottom has tiny sticky bumps to keep it from sliding around everywhere on the floor of your tent. The whole thing is made of a very strong material, and it has air pockets in the foam which it is made of to hold warmth at night so you dont get chilled from the ground. When I first received this I figured oh great, this will be impossible to get back into that little sack. But to my surprise it is simple. It takes absoultly no effort to roll it up small enough, and when you get it rolled you can close the air valve so it stays rolled. This is a great matress with great details which make it even more comfortable. A++.

Thanks! Does this brand come in sleeping mattresses that are higher above the ground?

This looks similar to the classic Therm-a-Rest.
