When I went to church services this past weekend, the Carmelite Hermits were in the vestibule of the church selling jam, jellies and fudge. The Carmelite Hermits are a group of holy men who devote their lives to God and doing good for others. They make different items that they sell to help their cause. Well, I am a sucker for chocolate fudge, but I didn't have any extra money on me, so I had to pass up the chance to buy anything. But my husband, sweetheart that he is, bought me the chocolate fudge and surprised me with it.

I must say that this is absolutely the best fudge I have ever had. It is so chocolatey and creamy. One pound of this fudge costs $12.00, which I thought was a little pricey, but it is going to a good cause. And the taste of the fudge is so good, that it truly is worth overy penny. The Carmelite Hermits were also selling other flavors, and my husband bought a pound of vanilla for his mother. But the chocolate was my weakness, and it really is delicious. I told my husband this one pound box of fudge was the best gift he could have given me, and the fudge is so good that it is not an exaggeration.
