Cakes are one my favourite desserts. One of my favourite cakes is Tiramisu Meltdown by Red Ribbon. Red Ribbon cakes are known to be expensive but every bit and pieces of their cakes are worth it. I always buy them for special occasions and celebrations.

Tiramisu Meltdown is Red Ribbon's version of the chocolate tiramisu. It is made up of layers of soft chocolate cake with white and dark chocolate icing. It is sprinkled with chocolate flakes on top. The taste is sweet but not too sweet because of the distinct rum-like taste. I am not sure if it has liquor in its ingredients but one thing I am sure is the distinct rum taste.

A piece of advice for this cake, it is best eaten when it is cold and just came out of the fridge. Also, keep the whole cake refrigerated because if you leave the cake lying on the table for a long time, the icing melts and taste becomes different too. It still tastes delicious of course but once you ate it in that kind of condition the taste becomes too sweet. But over all, I do not mind grabbing for seconds for this chocolate cake. The distinct sensation and euphoria that you get because of the chocolate overload is a must-feel experience for chocolate lovers like me.
