Choke is a really great book. I really enjoyed it and honestly could not put it down. The story follows a guy that is not your average protagonist. His name is Victor Mancini. He has a quite a few issues, his friends have issues, and his mom has issues. Victor doesn't make enough money at his crappy job to pay for his mom's medical bills so he has to come up with some creative ways to make money. His plan is to fake choking on food so that his saviors will love him. They feel responsible for him and help him will bills and send birthday cards. I really liked this book and I definitely recommend it to anyone. The characters pull you in and the story made me want to keep reading until I hit the back cover.
