Chris Christensen Slicker Brush For Dogs By elkper on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If your dog is like mine and needs to be brushed frequently, you know how unpleasant that task can be. Over the years I have tried many different kinds of slicker brushes. Some hurt the dog, most eventually caused my arm to ache. Chris Christensen has developed a slicker brush that is ergonomically designed. I can brush for hours and it doesn't bother my arm. The dog doesn't seem to mind it either. There is a lot of padding in the bristle area to absorb most of the force when you bring the brush down on the dogs coat. The brush is very expensive, starting at about $25, but I decided it was worth it. There are several different sizes and you can also get the brush in a triangular shape if you prefer that. Overall it is a very nice high quality brush, but it is expensive.
