Reviewing: Philip Gulley Christmas In Harmony

Christmas in Harmony is a nice, cozy story about Pastor Sam Gardner and his life in a small community. This is the second book I have read now by Philip Gulley, who is a Quaker minister.I was in the mood for reading some Christmas stories, with the holidays fast approaching, and I picked up this book for that reason.

This story gives us a little insight into Sam's life in this small town, where he is the Pastor. The citizens of Harmony, Indiana, all have their own ideas about how to celebrate Christmas, and one of the townspeople, Dale Hinshaw, wants to have a progressive Nativity scene instead of the usual Christmas celebration. The story is funny and entertaining when we find out how this progressive Nativity scene affects the differentpeople living in Harmony, including Pastor Sam.

This story is only 84 pages long, so it will make for some quick reading.Philip Gulley has written a series of stories about Harmony, and I will probably be looking up a few of his other books.Christmas in Harmony is just a nice, innocent story about Harmony and its townspeople at Christmastime.
