Chromax... Is It Working? By sizwizz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I started using Chromax (chromium picolinate), when I read somewhere that it will helps promote healthy blood sugar, aids in cardiovascular health, and will increase energy. Wow! That sold me! Diabetes tends to run in our family, and I was willing to try this supplement if it would fend-off the onset of this disease.
I did a little research on the product, and found a study that backed up some of the claims that Chromax makes. On top of that, it's supposed to help with weight gain. Ya gotta love that! http://www.allbusiness.com/medicine-health/diseases-disorders-mental/6175821-1.html After scanning the article, I decided it might be worth a try.
First of all, I'm still taking Chromax to this day, but I can't tell you for certain that it's doing anything for me. I know I don't have a diabetes problem, but then again, I may not have a problem with without the Chromax. I'm naturally energetic, so I can't tell you it helped me there either. As far as cardio, who knows? So the reason I keep taking it is because I figure it's probably not hurting anything, and it could be helping me. Kind of a lame reason, I guess. Look at the study (in the link above), and you can be the judge. It just may do you some good!
Chromax Supplement

I've used chromium piccolinate off and on for years. After trying Chromax, I did some research and decided to go with GNC's chromium. What a difference! I could feel the slight boost in energy, my appetite was lessened and the swings in blood sugar stopped.
I've had exceptional good fortune with the GNC line of products, diabetes doesn't affect our family line but I know of people who do have it and I would definitely hope that something that can stave it off would be a beneficial purchase. I'd probably go for the GNC line myself as well...but good info here thanks!
