My dog, Duke, loves his Chuckit flying squirrel toy! We have had it for almost two years now and it is holding up very well to all the abuse he gives it.
It is very easy for us to throw and easy for Duke to pick up. It is very bright orange and blue, which makes it easy to find when he doesn't bring it back to us. The tips of the frisbee represent the hands and feet and are made of a thick rubber. This makes the squirrel spin fast in the air and the colors look great.
When you throw it, you have to be careful how you release it. Snapping your wrist too hard will make it curve really hard and you might lose it. It does not fly as far as a regular frisbee does, but I like that because I don't have to walk so far if Duke doesn't bring it back to me.

I just saw this at Shopko today. I think my big dog would have fun with this!
This looks like a really fun toy. The dog gets more exercise if the humans aren't bored to tears, eh?
