Chutes Ladders By Dadof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
We have had our Milton Bradley game of Chutes and Ladders for several years now since our children were younger. It is one of Milton Bradley's - My First Games series. Which basically means it is a great starter game and it requires no reading. It says for ages three to six. I think that it is appropriate for children a little older than that as well. I have a lot of fun playing this game with my family. It is a great family game. You can play with two, three, or four players at a time. I feel it is really easy for the kids to understand. All you have to do it spin the dial and move that many spaces. Once you land on a space you can basically understand what to do by what the picture looks like. When you land on a child doing something good (such as brushing the dog) you get to skip several spaces and move up the ladder. If you land on a child doing something bad (such as writing on the wall) you have to go down the chute and move back several space. I like that because it teaches kids that there are consequences for their actions.

Good job! You may want to post to 15 for 15 -- you don't actually have to DO 15 per person; they expect 5 to 6, so it's not as horrendous as it sounds! Good luck in July!
I love this & am so glad this is still around!
My daughter loves this game, specially the Dora version.
This is a great, classic game, and I will have to keep this in mind for my son soon.
Sounds very good for younger kids who can't read yet.
