Cincinnati Zoo Festival Of Lights By timandlesley on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

We went to the Cincinnati Zoo for Festival of lights and we were really impressed with the wonderful displays and activities. Not only was the zoo open and all of the animal attractions available to you which my kids loved but they had so much more to offer. They had millions of lights up around the zoo and it truly was beautiful. The train ran at night time and it was a beautiful sight seeing it all lit up, I do think it stinks that you have to pay for the train though figuring you pay so much for admission. Santa was there and that was obviously a big hit with my kids. We saw a wonderful ice carving demonstration too and that was very entertaining. Overall we had a wonderful time, we enjoyed the hot chocolate and other vendors that were set up and festive. We will definitely return in the future.
