"Cinderella III" is the third movie in the Cinderella series, however it does not take place after the second movie. Instead this movie takes place right after the first movie. It is the story of "What would have happened." The Evil Stepmother gets her hands on the magic wand and changes the course of the entire story of Cinderella as we know it. She turns back time, and she makes the glass fit Anastasia instead of Cinderella. Anastasia is taken to the castle and set to marry the Prince. The Stepmother and Drizella are in heaven, but Anastasia, the Prince, and Cinderella all know that something is not right. Anastasia is disheartened because of the fact that she wants true love - not love forced upon a man. The Prince can sense that something is not right even though he can't put his hand on it. And Cinderella remembers what happened so she, of course, is not happy.After my disappointment with the second Cinderella, I did not have high hopes for this movie. In fact, we rented it before buying it as I wasn't even convinced that I wanted to invest the money in it. However, after seeing it, we went the next day and bought it. It is truly a worthy successor of the original classic. We probably watched this movie at least 10 times in the first month, and my daughter went to sleep watching it every night for several weeks. It is a great movie, and even more than that we enjoy watching the bonus features such as the Bibbidi-Bobbidi Game and the music video.
