We recently purchased a home and found City Bank Mortgage to obtain our mortgage through. This company was extremely easy to work with.
You first submit your pre-approval application and fee. This allows you to see how much house you can afford and that you are pre-approved to obtain a loan.
After you find your home, you then can submit your fee for the appraisal. Then comes the hard part of the buyer; submitting all the paperwork that is needed for the underwriters. It was so extremely easy to work with this company and they stayed in constant contact with me via phone and email to ensure that the paperwork they needed was received.
We were able to get an excellent interest with the option of putting up a fee to buy down the interest rate. If you chose to do that then your money that you put down would then be applied towards your down payment.
They explained the good faith estimate in terms that an average person can understand. There were no hidden costs or surprises at closing.
At closing the mortgage specialist was there at the title office and the loan was funded right away.
I highly recommend City Bank Mortgage for an easy transaction!
