City Of Heroes: Good Vs. Evil Edition By Seraph on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

One of the most popular Massively Multiplayer Online Games, my husband originally bought the game, and then invited me to try it out. As a veteran of several MMOs already, I will admit I had high expectations for this game. What I found though, was a completely different story.

The game's mechanics are well-created, but the controls and the gameplay seem clunky. Turning a character in a different direction is an ordeal in itself, unless you go into the game's options and tweak the settings. Combat itself is fun at first, but then degenerates into hitting the same few buttons over and over again, with no variation.

One factor that I did particularly enjoy though was the character creation. It simply has to be the most detailed and extensive system I've ever used. The customization options are almost endless.

While it was an enjoyable experience for a little while, I found myself quickly bored with it and going back to playing my other MMO. It would probably be a good fit for a person for a person just starting out in the MMO world, but experienced veterans probably will find it rather repetitive for their tastes.
