Claritin 24 Hour Allergy Tablets

Claritin 24 Hour Allergy Tablets do help with my allergies very much, but the 'non-drowsy" aspect of this product is a joke. I realize that some people can take this medication and go on about their daily routine, but unfortunately, I am not one of them. If I took Claritin in the morning, I would do nothing but sleep all day long! In order to get allergy relief, I must take the Claritin at night - and the next day, I feel sort of hung over from the medicine. When my allergies are bad enough, I feel that these side effects are worth the relief I can get from taking Claritin. However, if I take Claritin every day for a period of time, anywhere from three to four weeks, for some reason it seems to stop working. Then, I have to resort to prescription allergy medicines that make me not only sleepy, but cross and grouchy! Luckily, after a few weeks, I can begin to take Claritin again. I wish I were able to take it all the time, because it is truly a good product.
