My entire family suffers from allergies. My husband and daughter take a prescription medication but I take Claritin when I am in the need of allergy relief. I prefer another over the counter medication, Benedryl, but I can only take it at night as it makes me very sleepy. However, Claritin does not make me sleepy so it is great to take during the day.

The tablets are very small and very easy to swallow. One tablet provides 24 hours of allergy relief. Claritin provides relief of sneezing, runny nose, itchy & watery eyes, itchy throat, and itchy nose.

This medication is NOT intended for children under the age of six. If you are pregnant or nursing, ask your doctor first before taking. I was allowed to take Claritin during pregnancy, but please ask your doctor first. Also, you should check with your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease.

The is good medication. When taken regularly, you shouldn't suffer from allergies very much. If taken at the onset of an allergy attack, it may take a little bit for you to feel better.
