I have been taking Claritin D 24 hour tables for quite a few years now. I usually purchase them in packs of 10 tablets for use all year round.
I suffer from pretty bad allergies all year round. I used to get allergy shots, but became immune tot hem after many years. I was then forced to find an alternative to the shots. The Claritin worked great for me for a long time, but I think I have become immune to the drug now.
I buy Claritin D because of the decongestant that is in the drug. It help to some degree with my stuffy nose. I also like that it lasts for 24 hours.
I do not experience any side affects from the drug, which is a very good thing.
If you suffer mild allergies or seasonal allergies Claritin might be of some help to you. If you have serious allergies, such as I do, you might require a different solution.

I will have to have my daughter try this one for her seasonal allergies.
my Mother pulmonologist suggest she take one a day everyday, that tells me alot about the product.
Yeah, this stuff didn't really do anything for my seasonal allergies after the first year I tried them. I just tough them out now. :-)
Thank you for this information. I do not usually suffer from allergies but at this time of the year when the pollen is out of control like it is right now, even I feel it. I like the idea that this one lasts 24 hours because I hate to have to wait till I start to feel bad every 4 hours and then take it again. With these you are protected even at night so you won't wake up stuffy, thanks.
That seems to be a real problem anymore with our bodies becoming immune to all the medications we are taking.
I think you can become immune to drugs after a while. I notice with me Clartin doesn't work so well anymore.
I'm so thankful that I don't seem to have allergies, but it's always good to know what works since they say you can develop new ones as you age.
Just curious... sicne you became immune to Claritin D, what do you use for your allergies?
Of all the OTC allergy meds out there, this is the only one that works for me. Especially effective around Spring time--those pollens drive me crazy.
Sorry the Claritin doesn't work for you anymore. My husband takes it almost year round and it really helps his allergies.
