Claritin RediTabs Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief
By cafn8me onI have dealt with seasonal allergies since the age of four, and over the years, I have tried countless prescription and over-the-counter allergy medications in an attempt to manage the symptoms of allergy attacks.Lately, the remedy I turn to again and again is Claritin RediTabs. These tablets dissolve in seconds once they are placed on the tongue - there is no need to chew them or take them with water. This makes them a great thing to carry with you for those times when you need allergy relief, but cannot access a beverage in order to take a pill. There is no funky aftertaste to contend with either...just sweet relief!
But wait, it gets better! This allergy relief does not make you tired or drowsy, which is quite a bonus!Who can afford to feel lethargic and sluggish in order to tame their allergies?
RediTabs will help alleviate itchy, watery eyes, nose and throat, as well as a runny nose and sneezing.Although the package claims that RediTabs provide relief for 24 hours, I find that they start to wear off closer to 20 hours after I've taken them.Still, 20 hours of non-drowsy relief is...uh, nothing to sneeze at!
Claritin RediTabs help alleviate allergy symptoms caused by pet dander, mold, dust and pollen. The active ingredient is Loratadine.I find that these tablets start to take effect within 20 minutes after I take one, and as noted above, the relief generally lasts about 20 hours.RediTabs are for use by adults and children over the age of 6.

I have a pack of these that I have not tried yet. I like to keep something on hand for my seasonal allergies and also carry Benadryl.
At $23.99 for 30 tabs they must be good! That's outrageous. It is a shame these can't be covered under a prescription plan since you do seem to need them Caf.
I agree that they should be covered under a prescription plan. Luckily, my husband had a flexible spending account, so any medical expenses not covered by insurance are reimbursed.
Looking for anything that helps with my allergies!
I usually take benadryl, but i'll give this a try!
This sounds like great allergy medication. I like the idea that it is non-drowsy.
