Clean Air Odor Free Diaper Disposal By kateri27 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I have been going through diaper pails like crazy! The problem with diaper pails is that they are made of plastic and they get to smell rather quickly. the selling point on this diaper disposal system is that it has a filter and a fan to keep the diapering system fresher longer.

Now set up was not the easiest thing in the world. I liked that my last diaper pail was put together in one minute. This diaper pail took about a half hour after tracking down four D batteries a screw driver and tall garbage bag.

Once I had everything set up and it was good to go I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of operation. You simply lift the lid, place the folded diaper in, and close the lid. The pail works for both disposable and non-disposable diapers. It claims to hold up to 40 diapers before you need to change it.

The filter does not run continuously, and this is a good thing. It is powered by a very quiet fan that runs six times every hour. The batteries and filter are designed to last ninety days. Once the ninety days are up it is time to buy a new filter (9.99 available at Target) and four new D batteries. The cost to run this diaper disposal for an entire year will set you back about $60. However, an odor free room...priceless!
