Clean Clear Deep Cleaning ASTRINGENT review

I recently purchased Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent, as I have extremely oily skin.It contains .5% Salicyic Acid, which is one of my main reasons for buying it.Despite this, I would say the produt is not overall effective.My skin, despite repeated use, is still generally extremely oily, and at times it seems to have accelerated / irritated the process.Another main annoyance about the product is the lack of an applicator.Even some sort of useful tip on the end of the bottle would have been nice.Overall, I would have to suggest sticking to the Nutrogena or CVS-generics of them, rather than the Clean&Clear line; this is my third time buying one of their products, an dit being a relative failure.I feel as though straight rubbing alcohol is more effective; a sad statement when comparing it to something that costs far more.
