Clean Dishes, Soft Hands By bubblywriter on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I regularly use Ivory dishwashing soap on my pots and pans, but since my dishwasher broke I have needed it for all my dishes. I have always been pleased with this soaps effectiveness at breaking down grease and cleaning the stubborn stains in my pots as well as helping to loosen the baked on food on my casserole dishes, muffin tins and baking sheets.
One must for me when choosing a dishwasher soap is its ability to treat my hands kindly since I am prone to contact dermatitis with some of the harsher detergents. Wearing rubber gloves is another solution, but I must confess when I am busy at the sink I am lazy about putting them on. Ivory dishwashing soap alleviates these concerns, it is as gentle as it claims.
A soap I would recommend whether washing a few pots and pans or a sink full of dishes.
However, I am going to say, repairman, help! Fix my dishwasher soon, it is so much less work.

I use Ivory. It really seems to help hands especially in winter. So many other dishwashing liquids contribute to drier hands. This works!
