Clean Drinking Water By Chris Kong on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
National Water purifiers are good in delivering fast filtered water fro dinking or for cooking. The design is nice too so it fits well into the kitchen as a decor piece. It is easy to install depending on the water tap head that you are installing to. Generally shorter tap heads are easier to install than the longer tap heads
Pros: It has a Cartridge Life checker that can tell us when to replace the cartridge . It removes minute foreign particles, red rust in water pipes, offensive taste and also excessive chlorine , Refill cartridges are easily available and easy to change.
Cons: It cannot remove compounds in hard water. it also cannot remove salt that dissolved in sea water.
Overall it is a good filter considering the price and the functions
National PJ-6RF Purchased at: Electrical shop Price: RM 300

School Teachers Know how to write them! Good work! WW-V:)
I used to have a water filter and lost it when we moved. Thanks for reminding me about them!
I enjoy the fact that you listed the pros and cons. When I lived in Texas we HAD to use water filters, I guess I havent thought much of one here because the water taste so good.
It sounds like you got a decent product for the price you paid. I use the Britta Filter in my home.
I really liked your pros & cons...this sounds like a good system but it is too bad that it does not remove compounds from hard water....
Something like this would work great with our well water!
I like that it tells you when to replace it. I had read that if you don't replace these filters frequently enough it can actually be worse than tap water.
We use a water filter in the kitchen that you can turn on for drinking water and off for dishes. It really runs too slowly, besides, we have well water and there are only so many ground contaminants that you can get in there.
I like that it tells you when to be replaced! If more people used filters there would be so much less waste in the world!
I am glad to see alternatives to water in plastic throw away bottles.
