Clean Laundry For Sensitive Skin By peatfire on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have really sensitive skin, and have been using unscented laundry detergent for many years. I was using Arm and Hammer and was relatively happy with it, but I wanted to switch to a more natural, environmentally friendly product. I was worried about how effective this type of product could be, because many brands for sensitive skin don't clean well.

I decided to try Seventh Generation because I already used their dishwashing liquid. It says it can be used in HE machines, which I have, as well as regular machines.

The is product cleans just as well as Arm and Hammer, and seems to cause even less skin irritation. It has is no scent, but my clothes smell fresh.

I will continue to buy it, even though I think the price is high at $8.49 for 50 ounces. However, I use less than the directions call for, and my clothes still come clean, so one bottle will last me quite a while.
