Cleocin or Clindamycin is well know for long suffering juvenile and adult acne vulgaris. It is however delimited from be used by pregnant women. it's topical use does not serve the internal function preventing acne that internal antibiotics do. The alcohol type base means that heat exposure or leakage can waste an entire batch or container. Glass vials are breakable, the plastic container is lighter. Cleocin should be available in travel sizes so patients shouldn;t have to risk the entire medication onintermediate use away from home or damaging article in purses or bags due to spills. I did not have any eye or skin irritation. Overdosing skin is difficult to do. Prevention of acne is strong, and can be used with makeup, except the contagion to the sponge applicator tip over time can occur. Discoloration due to makeup application and bacteria forming also suggest switchable sponge appicator tops would be welcome. otherwise bacteria on skin or in air can soak thru sponge and exist inside the medication for the life of the prescription. Ages well, but you'll use it up before you outlast it. Less messy and problematic than gel form.
