Cleveland's Newspaper Rocks!
By kateri27 onI have lived in Cleveland for the past three months.As soon as I got to town I ordered the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Initially I was so very disappointed.I was supposed to get the paper on Wednesday and Sunday.The first week it came, the second week nothing.I called, complained, they credited me.The third week, nothing yet again.I called, complained, and received another credit.At this point i am frustrated, but I need my Sunday coupons so what am I going to do.I give it one more week.
Well Wednesday's paper came, but nothing on Sunday.i called and told them I just needed to cancel.They talked me into giving them one more try, I did, and the paper has been coming regularly ever since.
I like the Plain Dealer.They have some very interesting articles, most recently they have been covering the water shortage and the fact that this might just make Cleveland a desirable place to live once again.
I would recommend at least the basic Sunday Plain Dealer package to anyone living in town.
You see what happens when you call to complain & say the dreaded word CANCEL?! You started getting your subscription!! I hope you won't have any more problems & at least get the Sunday paper for coupons (I'm with you on that!)
The Sunday paper actually give you a chance to catch up on what's going to be happening in the next week or so in your town. I love the coupons too. Most days I don't have time to relax and actually read a newspaper, but on Sunday, that is a day for reading!
We used to have that problem with the newspaper from our own town, before we moved to TN. It drove me insane!!! I'm glad they fixed the issue for you.
