Clinique's Happy certainly lives up to its name! It's a happy, cheerful fragrance that can lift your mood the moment you smell it. Introduced in 1997, it is one of the top five best selling fragrances in the United States. It's a citrus/floral blend with notes of grapefruit, Hawaiian Wedding Flower, and Boysenberry Bush Flower that seems to smell better the longer you wear it. I think that Happy is a perfect scent to wear in the summertime - or anytime! It's an airy, light scent that wears off fairly quickly on me though, and you might need to reapply it at least once during the day as the perfume fades. How long a perfume lasts has a lot to do with an individual's body chemistry, so your mileage may vary. I have found that Happy lasts around 4 to 5 hours on me. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this perfume, and I have had to tell many people what perfume I was wearing, as they wanted to go and buy some for themselves.

Happy would be the perfect scent for a young girl's first "expensive" perfume. I enjoy using Happy as an everyday perfume. It seems to make the world a nicer place! I am very satisfied with Clinique Happy, and plan to continue to buy it for a long time.
