Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara comes in a nice silvery-gray tube with a price tag of $14 - a bit high for me but quite usual for this brand. As you can see from the name of it, the mascara promises to make your eyelashes twice longer. I've found it to be an overstatement: it does thicken and lengthen eyelashes some, but not that much. One coat makes the lashes more defined, two add some length and volume. No double-length though. My second complaint is smudges. When the mascara is freshly applied, my lashes look very good, but after a couple of hours of wear I notice some smudging; it is definitely not an all-day wear. Smearing gets worse if there is any moisture around - sweat, humidity, or if something makes eyes watery.
