Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange is a disturbing tale of a young gang in London.Alex (Malcom McDowell) is the leader of the derby-topped gang of hooligans.The steal, beat, rape, as well as sing and dance.As horrific as the crimes he commits are there is a brilliant side to Alex.His love for classical music.The law enforcement is at their witts end trying to figure out a way to reach the gangs that have been terrorising their London streets.Well, they decided top brainwash Alex and see if they can turn him into an upstanding citezen.They mix his love of music with horrific images and sounds.Soon the very thing he loves causes him the most excruciating pain, in the sense of music and crime.This film is not for the week hearted.I had a hard time watching some of the scenes myself.The movie was acctually based on a novel written by Anthony Burgess.
