Clorox Green Works: 100 Natural Cleaning By Candida Eittreim on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Like many of us I've become increasingly concerned about using chemicals in my home for everyday cleaning. My husband especially, would bring me home HazMat sheets on chlorine bleaches and other chemicals used to clean our homes. Yet when I tried many of the natural/organic cleansers out on the shelves, they just did not measure up to my tried and true standards.
About 4 months ago, while shopping in Safeway, I noticed a new kid on the Clorox block of products. Called Green Works, it advertises itself as 100% natural and highly effective. At $2.39 for the bottle, I thought "what the heck, I'll try it" I'm so glad I did.
This is a very pleasant smelling effective spray cleaner for many of the hard surfaces in your home. It cuts through dirt extremely well, leaves little to no film and leaves things sparkling clean and fresh. I had also bought the matching toilet bowl cleaner and was totally pleased with how well it cleaned. The scent is faintly grassy with lemony undertones.
The ingredients are listed as:
coconut based cleaning agent non ionic surfectant
corn based ethanol
essential lemon oil
filtered water
biodegradable preservative.
If you want a natural alternative to chemically based cleaners, I heartily recommend giving Green Works a try.

I have seen these at Kroger and wondered if they really did work, I will certainly give this a try! I think if more people would go green our kids and grandkids will have a better chance at a enjoyable life.
I will try it out. I use Simple Green and it works but it smells funny.
Froggy, I am very pleased with the All-Purpose cleaner too! I had no idea that they had a toilet bowl cleaner and am going to have to be on the lookout for that one. I am quite happy being able to change over to a non-chemical cleaner.
I really like this stuff! I just bought some for the first time a couple of days ago!
