Co Q 10 Supplement By Georgia Sawhook on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My cousin in a homeopathic doctor and told me that since I was taking Lipitor, I really needed to take the CO Q-10 supplement . When you take Lipitor which is a statin drug, it tends to deplete the coenzyme CO Q10 which is in our system. It's supposed to increase energy, enhance the immune system, and act as an antioxidant in our bodies.

So, I can't tell you the total way that it works, all that I know is that my cholesterol levels (good and bad) are doing fine and I hope that this is doing what it supposed to be doing.

The bottle I bought from Puritan's Pride has 60 soft gel tablets. There's no flavor to it and it's easy to swallow. I only have to take one a day which isn't bad.
