Almost everything in my kitchen was bought because it looked good to me. I have pretty much quit drinking coffee, but when I saw this one I knew I had to have it. It is a sleek looking bright red coffee maker. You can program it so that you coffee is made when you wake up without having to fumble with it which is not a new feature but still a great one to have. It has a front side flip top lid for the water, of course it has a clock and brew timer. The coffee pot itself is dishwasher safe. I use this coffee maker to brew my tea in more than making coffee. One feature that stands out to me is it has a brew timer on it that tells you how long ago the coffee was brewed, I really like that feature. I paid around $42.00 for this one at Target, which is a little more than I really wanted to spend since I knew I would not be making that much coffee, but it is a high quality coffee maker and I still really love the appearance of it in my kitchen. Kitchen Aid has a lot of different appliances that match including toasters, mixers and more.
