Purchased at: Virgin Records     Price: $15.00 USD

Coheed and Cambria channel their emotional 2006 year, which included the departure of drummer Josh Eppard and the death of Claudio Sanchez's Aunt, into their stellar new album "No World For Tomorrow". Fans of the band will notice an evolution of sound which still retains motifs from the first 3 albums. Billed as the conclusion to a nearly-complete 5-part sci-fi space opera (the first part of the series is still forthcoming), the saga concludes with an hour-long rockfest fit for the epic climax of the story. Rock anthems and calls to arms like the title track and "The End Complete" abound, with touches like "Feathers" and "Mother Superior" to soften the hard edges of this album. Rock, metal, emo, a certain amount of originality and daring combine to make a beautifully produced, toe-tappingly rocking album. Best album of 2007.
