Cold Eeze By justjill on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
My daughter has her share of colds once the school year begins. I saw Cold Eeze on sale at Publix and thought we should have a box on hand. It contains Zinc Gluconate Glycine and comes in various flavors.
Sure enough my daughter developed a cold after school started. She began sucking on the lozenges every 4 hours the first day of her cold. Her cold did not progress as usual. So she continued them for several more days. By the 4th day her cold had pretty much disappeared! It never got bad either. She has had yet another cold, repeated this process and had the same results! She actually likes the lozenges and enjoys the flavor.
I am keeping Cold-Eeze on hand to help reduce and shorten any colds my family may get this winter.

This definitely sounds like it is worth looking into-I always see this in stores but never took the time to see how they really worked!
I hate the taste of Cold-Eeze but they do seem to help my colds, anything to make them not as bad is worth it!
I'll have to remember Cold-Eeze during my next cold season.
They never seemed to help me but I am glad she got relief. Its miserable being sick!
We use it here at our home too. It really does work. We have had great results with it. Another good one is Zicam. Sold in cotton swab applicators, lozengers or spray. JOEY
