Cold Eyes By Romina Wilcox By halcamdad on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is Romina's first book. It's actually quite good. If you like Dan Brown's style, you'll like Cold Eyes. It's a technological thriller set in Silicon Valley. The plot revolves around the biomedical world. A famous physician and AIDS researcher is murdered. The perpetrator is a hacking genious who in addition to taking out a premier researcher, is in the process of sabotaging the information systems of major biomedical and hospital systems.

A hacking genious working for a firm in Silicon Valley is assigned to the case by the FBI. It's a fast-paced, exciting story that definitely held my interest. Mass murder, technology/internet crime, love, deception, twists and turns - this book is a page turner. Unfortunately, it's not very hard to figure out who the bad guy is??? Maybe I just got lucky, but I had a hunch pretty early on. I'd rather be surprised and astounded rather than be right...it's more fun. Oh well, this is a good book worth checking out.
