I've always been a Coldplay fan, so I was thrilled when they came out with their newest album "Viva la Vida". This music is uplifting to the soul and to the spirit. Coldplay has always been very original with their choice of music. The songs vary in rhythms, keys, and instruments used. The song for which the album is named , "Viva La Vida", features and string ensemble, which gives a unique and classical touch to a lively blends of instruments and voice. Christ Martin, lead singer for the band, has a wonderfully creative mind. Chris also plays the piano. His many skills are featured in other songs, such as "Violet Hill". In this new album, the band has adopted an edgier sounds with a modern twist while still maintaining their originality. Coldplay's creative genius will change the way you think of music.
