Coldwater Creek Travel Knit By Chefmom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My teenage daughter won't go into Coldwater Creek with me, but when it comes to clothing for travel, this company can't be beat. Their "travel knit" really doesn't wrinkle. On a recent trip, I packed my black Coldwater Creek travel knit pants, hung them up when I got to our destination and never felt wrinkled at all. I love to travel, but have always hated the way my appearance looked wrinkled. When this company says their travel line won't wrinkle, they mean it!

It's not perfect. The line does lean toward the "mature" woman, and it would be great if they could come up with a few trendier items. And their clothes run really large. Where I normally wear a small, at Coldwater Creek I need petite extra small. But for wrinkle-free travel, Coldwater Creek is the answer.

Prices vary. Travel knit skirts and pants run about $50-$60. They have a great outlet on their website.

I've been wondering about the quality and fit of their travel knits. I agree they are a bit on the matronly side.
