Coleman 4 Hour Rechargeable Flashlight By John Gugie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is one of Coleman's rechargeable flashlight. When fully charged, the light will operate for more than four hours, giving you sufficient lighting during brief emergencies.
While plugged into the electrical outlet, a small turquiose night light glows, so you can find it in the dark. Once unplugged, it goes out and a tiny red light goes on.
The electrical outlet plug prongs are retractable when not recharging.
My main issue is that the main flashlight will not function until the plug is retracted. This is bad when the power goes out and you're left in the dark because you want a light as fast as possible. You don't want to be feeling around for the plug every time. The tiny red LED light doesn't give much light at all. When the prongs are in, the LED goes out and you grope for the button.
Also, the casing is made of plastic and some people have said that it breaks easily when dropped but, so far, we haven't dropped ours.
Coleman products are dependable and this comes with a five-year warranty.

Coleman is #1. Aces with me. I am slowly trying to get rid of my crap flashlights. This sounds like the replacement I have been dreaming about!
Interesting. I never seem to have good luck with rechargeable things.
I like this last 4 hours and its rechargeable!
