Coleman Double Quick Bed Air Bed By mkvli357 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Disappointment from the start. For one, it didn't come with an airpump, and purchasing it would have cost me twice as much. Getting it from a local sports store is better since you'll get the bed and the bump for what the Coleman website will charge you. Two, I think the bed came with a leak.
The bed didn't stay pumped for more than a couple days initially after I had bought it. A few weeks later, the bed became almost completely flat within hours. I would wake up with a sore back in the morning. Although this is more than likely a factory problem, first impressions do count.
The size of the best is pretty good though. It can definitely fit two normal sized people very well. It's roomy and spacious for myself and my girlfriend. The time it takes to pump the bed is pretty short, but the pump is loud, so be wary of that.
Comfort was something that the airbed impressed me with. It was my first time using an airbed but the comfort level was pretty high. Not too shabby for an airbed. Although it can't make up for a real, nice mattress, it can definitely substitute for it well.
Coleman does make the best camping and some household products. But unfortunately, I was the one to get a faulty one. The leak in the bed brought it down a lot. If the bed had no problems to begin with, I would've given it a much, much higher score.

I have an air type bed from Walmart. these are double heighth that sounds similiar to yours and has a built in pump. I have a double that sold for about $50 dollers. I am happy with it if I could just keep my cats and their claws off.
I am sorry you got a bad bed. I have to say I love both the ones I have. I use them everyday here for normal sleeping, plus I take them with me to hotels and camping. I very rarely have to put air into mine, last for months. It does sound like your had problems from the manufacturer.
