Coleman Widebeam FlashlightLantern
By Brian Carden onMy family goes camping several times a year.We also take several little flashlights with us.We have always wanted a lantern to put on the picnic table at night. We recently received the Coleman - Widebeam Flashlight and Lantern. The Coleman Widebeam runs on four "D" cell batteries. To operate the spot light (flashlight) you press the button on the handle once.To turn the area light (lantern) you press the button on the handle twice.Turn turn the lights off you press the button a third time. When you want to use the area light you can place the Coleman Widebeam upright. The handle that is used to carry the light is black in color and made of rubber. If you decide to purchase the Coleman - Widebeam Flashlight and Lantern you might want to buy rechargeable batteries. The non rechargeable batteries do not last very long.

I have had one of these for a long time and it has never failed me. I especially love the bottom flourescent-type light that comes on after one click. It's so handy for finding stuff on the floor.
