When we talk bout toothpaste, most of Malaysian will imagine Colgate. I've used to consumed Colgate brand of toothpaste for more than 25 years. What can I say here is, Colgate known as the toothpaste rather than the brand it self. A grandmother tell her grandson, "dont forget to buy colgate for me if go the groceries". Actually, that grandma as her grandson to buy a toothpaste. "Dont forget to bring your colgate when we go for travel!". "Please help me to take that colgate for me, that one in a green box!" (Golgate is red). There is alot of conversation that we can hear where colgate has replaced the name of toothpaste it self. Colgate is one of the sucessful brand leading. Not only at his name.
