My aunt who is a dermatologist always mentions collagen for smoother face. She also said that if I want to rid my face of unsightly pimple scars, I would need a collagen injection.
The second time I encountered collagen was in the form of a moisturizer. I was in the United States at that time during winter. My skin was already breaking out and my face was all wrinkled. I looked old!!!! I did not know what moisturizer to use but then I found this product in my host's bathroom. I tried it one time and I got hooked.
This product is the St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer. After several days of using this product, my face became visibly smoother--the lines and the dryness of my face was gone. I continued to use this product throughout the winter and I did not have problem since. My face looked younger because it was refreshed.
I really like this product because it works and it does not cost so much. One big tub is only $5, as opposed to really expensive moisturizers that come in small containers.
For me, it doesn't matter if it is cheap as long as it works. This is proof that applying collagen and elastin on the face really helps improve our skin. And well, St. Ives is a good and trusted brand.
Although this product is just marketed as a moisturizer for me it serves as an anti-aging product because my face looks younger.

i used in past and found one of the best cream. i used the scrub of st.ives and that was the best for my normal skin. I my self find st.ives as a nice brand which is reasonabily priced and good quality

I have a tub of this at my boyfriend's house. Unfortunately, when I'm there, I'm reacting horribly to his animals (adorable as they are, they make my skin flare up). As a result, my skin becomes super sensitive. This moisturizer stings =( It doesn't sting the first day I'm there though, when my skin is still relatively normal-ish. I should just bring it home to use. This review encourages me to do so =) (PS he and I live in different countries) Thanks for sharing with us.
