College Student Approved By chelle7906 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I got this backpack after my trusty Jansport of four years finally broke down. I've always found North Face products to be of good quality and I loved the look of this backpack so I decided to bite the bullet and splurge on it.

$75 is a little more than I'm comfortable with spending on a backpack, but considering how much use I get out of it, I think it's well worth it. As a college student, I lug around books, notebooks, folders, etc. all around my huge campus on a daily basis-- it's safe to say that a low quality backpack would get worn out within a short period of time. This bag, however, is still as sturdy as it was the day I got it.

The strong points for this bag include the ultra comfortable shoulder straps, lightly padded front compartment (stops my granola bars from getting crushed!) and the inner pocket which easily stores a laptop (I have a tiny 12 inch and it fits perfectly--larger laptops may be a tight fit though).

I've found this pack to noticeably cut down the amount of strain on my back and I've gotten tons of compliments on how "cute" it is (which I must agree with). All in all, no complaints from me!

the photo has the impression that its a big bag but with your comment of fitting a mini laptop, well I guess my impression was incorrect.LOL
